How to Celebrate Thanksgiving and to Be a Joyful You

Thanksgiving is a great time to celebrate with family and friends. It’s also a great time to be thankful for the things that happen in your life. We must remain during the holiday season to be thankful for the things that have happen in our lives. I will give you three tips to remain to be thankful, joyful, and hopeful during this Thanksgiving. Sometimes as a woman we can get a little overwhelm with the things that are in our lives, however don’t let that thankful heart, joyful or hopeful heart leave you during this holiday.

Always have a thankful heart

When we have a thankful heart, we can remember the good things that have occurred in our lives and even our family lives. Having a thankful heart brings a heart of love, joy, and peace. We can’t always focus on the negative things that happen in our lives but only those positive things to become thankful for.  Today write down 5 things that you are thankful for and see your negativity may go away when you focus on the positive things in your life. For example, you can decorate a mason jar with popsicles sticks and write 5 positive things that you are thankful for.

Be reminded in all things be thankful with a glad heart.

Be joyful when others come around you.  I can remember a time that I was on the phone with a friend of mines for almost 3 hours into until early the morning and we were laughing so hard that we were crying on the phone. Joy brings laughter and healing to your spirit. When others are around you when you have joy it brings laughter and healing. You can be that person around Thanksgiving that your family can be looking up to for that joyful smile and beautiful spirit to bring around. Having joy is a gift and it’s a gift from God.

Be that ball of joy to make others laugh

Being Hopeful. Being hopeful this Thanksgiving allows the love and joy to be in your heart. When we hope for good things to come our way we remain at calm and at peace. Being hopeful allows you to have an expectancy and an expectation on the things that you are waiting and hoping for to happen in your life or even your family. Having that high expectation brings of a hopeful heart brings a sense a warm feeling. I know when I’m in expectation for someone or something it makes me happy. Especially when you are hoping for the family member to come visit during the holidays. Always remember being hopeful brings something that you can hope for that can bring something you are hoping for to come to pass.

I hope these 3 tips helped your during this Thanksgiving. Be blessed and enjoy your holiday.

 Happy Thanksgiving
